Practice Areas

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults in areas including self-esteem, anxiety, depression, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Who are you? Whether you are an adult or an adolescent, having a clear understanding of who you are and who you potentially want to become can play a huge role in helping you find peace and joy in life.

Adulthood is filled with challenges and demands. It can be easy to feel like you should have it all figured out. While it can be difficult to ask for help, know that you are not expected to be perfect and to have all the answers. I can support you on this life-long  journey of discovery.

Do you feel anxious or overwhelmed and aren't sure what to do? We live in a world where stress is all around us and it has the ability to consume us. I work with clients to discover ways to cope with anxiety and help them face any fears they may have that are causing them distress.

Adolescence is a time of discovery and navigating a world as you come into your own. With nearly a decade of working in schools, I understand the challenges facing today's youth. I also understand that families play a key role in an adolescent's development.

Are you feeling sad or depressed? Do you feel stuck and don't know how to find the motivation to get unstuck? Do you struggle to find joy in life? First of all, know that it's okay to not be okay. I help my clients discover the joy in life while working together to come up with tools to deal with struggles and adversity in life.

I have extensive expertise in working with individuals on issues related to their sexual orientation or gender identity. In addition to therapeutic services, I also work with clients to write WPATH letters for transgender healthcare services.

What does it mean to love yourself? Is it a destination or a lifelong journey? If you're struggling with feeling worthy and you want to feel more confident and secure in who you are, we can challenge those internal beliefs that have been holding you back. We will work together to quiet the voices of self-doubt and discover the joy in being you.
